An impressive old-time large calcite from the famous Joplin Field. The sculptural, lustrous and translucent, beautiful golden-yellow piece is dominated by the large nailhead spar crystal, that is dramatically accented with both smaller parallel-growth and stepped-growth crystals. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. The out-of-sight back has a contact, where another crystal once lay, but has very little actual damage.
