Item Description
Stunning, sculptural large 360-degree arborescent cave aragonite on calcite from the Vieja Mine at Santa Eulalia. The striking "branches" are composed of stacked, creamy, translucent, flattened calcite rhombohedrons. Snow-white aragonite then dramatically, preferentially coats the the calcite rhombs and branches with colorful effect. Fantastically PRISTINE, for all the crystal density and size. Ex Gary Weaver Collection. Santa Eulalia is known for such cave calcite and aragonite specimens and this is a wonderful and remarkable large combination example.
