It is one of the primary Mn-bearing silicate ores at Broken Hill. This is a dramatic, sculptural, large and rich solid single compound crystal of the species with typical embedded galena. The stubby rounded terminated crystals have high waxy luster, translucence and beautiful variable shades of reddish-pink. The crystals GLOW, when back lit.
