Item Description
A large, sharp, lustrous, hexagonal, rich purpley-colored sapphire with a striking, triangular, red (ruby) cap from recent finds in Madagascar. Muscovite is embedded in two of the sides. Complete all-around, with only a bit of termination edgewear, thi sis a HUGE crystal for the find! It is a very showy and large crystal by any standard, anyhow, at 85 grams.
