A dramatic, most impressive, large combination piece from Jalgaon. A beautiful, 10.8 cm, bi-colored apophyllite crystal is the centerpiece of this very fine plate and is surrounded by 3-dimensional clusters of pearlescent, flesh-colored, stilbite blades. The very glassy, highly lustrous crystal has a bright, translucent, mint-green body sharply demarcated by and capped with the gemmy, colorless, multiple chisel terminations. A 6.0 cm, doubly terminated apophyllite jauntily attached to the side of the large crystal is a super accent. Expertly prepared, this giant is nearly pristine, with only a gentle cleave to one of the apophyllite terminations. For quality, aesthetics and size, this very fine combination is hard to beat. Fairly valued at $1000-1250. 6 pounds or 2.7 kilos.
