The world's finest betekhtinites, a rare Cu-Fe-Pb sulfosalt easily come from this famous mining district. This striking, immense and RARE large plate is richly covered with artistically arranged parallel-growth bundles of matte brownish-black needles to a LARGE 3.0 cm. The clusters rest on dramatically contrasting scintillating quartz microcrystals adding real pizzazz to this superb and rare large combination. These came out in the 1990s. Ex Rene Triebl Collection and Herb Obodda dealer stock. Valued by Herb at $1500 more than eight years ago. A fair price today would be $2500 for this large exotic rarity, if it were out there on the market.
