Item Description

Gem, water-clear, amber, tabular barite prisms, to 1.2 cm, are festooned on this very rich and impressive large two-sided rib from the famous finds at the Meikle Mine in the late 1990s. The glassy clarity of this prisms is especially noteworthy and this is a very choice large example of this varietal. This sculptural piece displays well from either direction. The back is also richly covered with crystals with some being partially coated. Ex Madrid Collection. Valued at $2000-2500.
