The Liufengshan Mine has produced some excellent to outstanding azurite and malachite specimens in the last 6-7 years. Fine specimens compare very favorably with classic Bisbee pieces! High praise. This is an impressive and rich large combination. Lustrous, royal-blue azurite crystals are festooned on the sculptural, elongated malachite matrix. Most crystals have areas of beautiful "electric-blue" color under bright light. Highly representative and showy large combination material of the species and find. Very little has come out in the last few years. The piece displays very well without aid.
