An impressive and aesthetic large arsenopyrite plate from this renowned locale. Highly lustrous, bronze-metallic, wedge-shaped, parallel-growth arsenopyrite crystals in a striking jackstraw pattern compose the piece. Some crystals have a secondary coating of tiny pyritohedrons, adding character. The scattered muscovite rosettes and two holes add contrast and pizzazz. A nice surprise on the back are the scattereed clusters and isolated crystals of classic Panasqueira green fluorapatite crystals. The gemmy and lustrous, hexagonal crystals, to 1.6 cm, fluoresce. Very fine large combination material from Panasqueira.
