Item Description
Beautiful green and sparkly, gemmy "peridot bomb" made up of peridot crystals filling an impressive oval 10.0 cm vug - this case not broken out and still strikingly framed by the sculptural basalt matrix. These are the source of gem rough the Indians mine and sell to tourists and jewelers, but this big matrix specimen is a very unusual and interesting educational piece, not yet cobbed up. The piece displays well without aid. Ex Gary Weaver Collection. Value? It is a really good one, as specimens go!
