Large Aragonite w/ Copper inclusions (old classic)

Item Description

An exotic and colorful large old-time stalactitic Bisbee cave (helectite) aragonite, probably from the Southwest Mine. Copper inclusions have given this sculptural, translucent piece a pretty light pastel-green hue. The second generation aragonite "flutes" add to the drama of this impressive specimen from an East Coast collection. Undoubtedly old-time material, but no proof. The piece has multiple display views. Bisbee aragonite specimens included with copper of this size and quality are RARE and are very seldom on market. A MUST for the locality or species collector.
