Large Aragonite (classic locale) ex Obodda

Item Description

Aragonite specimens from this classic Slovakia locale rank among the worlds best and this is a striking large example. The very large, diverging glassy spires have water-clear terminations above the translucent bodies. The prism faces have nifty stepped-growth and the sidecar crystals are a nice accent. Complete all-around and nearly pristine. Some of terminations are perfect, while others contacted the pocket ceiling. Two of the sidecar crystals on the back have cleaved tips. This is a very large and choice example of the species and noted locale. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock.
