Large Aragonite

Item Description

An impressive large cumulus cloud-shaped or coral-like specimen of two generations of aragonite from the famous mines at Santa Eulalia. Most of the piece is composed of globules of very glassy white crystals. Some areas have a secondary overgrowth crust of snow-white aragonite. This very shapely cave formation has four small points of attachment, all on one side. From an East Coast collection and purchased the the Tucson Show in 1983. A very fine and classic large aragonite.
