Item Description
Impressive and aesthetic large museum-sized aquamarine combination plate from a new find in the famous Nagar District of Pakistan. This beautifully composed and colorful piece is dramatically highlighted by the pristine, 8.2 cm, doubly terminated Aquamarine crystal with dynamically set opposing side car aquas on the starkly contrasting rich field of jackstraw, pearlescent, grayish-brown Muscovite plates. The glassy, lustrous, striated, layered fine ice-blue, textbook hexagonal aquas are gemmy to translucent. Both of the pinacoidal terminations to the large crystal are darker or lighter, typical of the aquamarine crystals from this find. An adjacent rich field and clusters of strikingly, strangely, heavily etched, cream-colored Microcline crystals have unusual and interesting preferential overgrowths of tiny, brown Lepidolite crystals. Mass is 3005 grams or 6.6 pounds. An outstanding large combination from this well-known locale. Fairly valued at $5000-7000 for size, quality and outstanding combination presentation. Here is your chance to get a very large and fine quality Aquamarine combination at a fair price point.
