An impressive large apophyllite with stilbite "stalactite" from the Poona District of Jalgaon. Very glassy, highly lustrous, water-clear gem to tranlucent, colorless, tetragonal apophyllite crystals are dramatically studded on all sides of this outstanding large 360-degree monster with a striking curved termination. The crystals reach 3.3 cm and some are doubly terminated (largest). A few scattered salmon-pink stilbite blades are a fine accent and on a few spots you can see the brown wormy chacedony core peering out.
