Beautiful starbursts, sprays and clusters of two-toned, gemmy, tetragonal apophyllite crystals are aesthetically scattered on the undulating large basalt matrix covered with contrasting lustrous, creamy stilbite blades. The very glassy apophyllite crystals have rich mint-green bodies and limpid colorless terminations. This striking and excellent piece has been expertly prepared with the carved curved back and sawed base and displays well without aid. The style and form of these apophyllite clusters is certainly one of the most desirable from any Maharashtra locale. This classic combination displays very artistically and is a sculptural work of art.
