Item Description

Glassy, translucent, light mint-green prehnite crystals fill a dramatic, large scupltural geode on this exceptional example from this famous and extinct (2007) New Jersey traprock quarry. The prehnites are peppered with hard-to-see tiny white apophyllite crystals adding character. Choice and uncommon style large prehnite from the John Geiges and Eric Stanchich Collections and collected by James Zigras in December, 2006. A must for the locality or species collector.
