Large Andradite xls (old classic)

Item Description

An impressive large andradite garnet dodecahedron is aesthetically set amidst andradite crystal sections on massive andradite matrix on this showy and classic large specimen from this noted locale. The sharp, lustrous, reddish-brown crystal is 6.5 cm and is nearly pristine, with only trivial edge wear. Some translucence is noted under bright light. Undoubtably old-time material, but no proof. A must for the locality or species collector.
