A supremely glassy and lustrous, 13.5 cm, doubly terminated light yellow calcite crystal is dramatically set on the impressive large plate of gemmy, blush- to dark purple amethyst points from Irai. The calcite has a fabulous gem compound termination well-accented by the three small terminations at the other end, so that the calcite looks like a rocket ship with the flames coming out of the back! 12.6 pounds or 5.7 kilos mass. You barely notice, that the nose of the calcite is gently bruised and the amethysts are also remarkably nearly pristine, with only a modest bit of peripheral contact. This exceptional large Irai combination displays beautifully, as the base has been sawed so it can stand nicely. The large calcite is stunning in its beauty, gemminess and placement.
