Large Amethyst (rare unetched crystal!)

An impressive large unetched amethyst crystal from this well-known Bolivian locale. The lustrous, sharp termination, with frosted faces, has a beautifully gemmy interior with mesmerizing clouds of blush-purple color. The striking mulitude of parallel-growth terminations surrounding the main termination is remarkable. Complete all-around and essentially pristine. A very trivial edge bruise near to the top of the primary termination and contacting on one side, where another crystal once, but with only trivial bruising, are noted, but certainly have only minimal impact to the outstanding quality of this fine amethyst. The base has been sawed to enhance this dramatic and excellent amethyst.
