Thunder Bay amethyst specimens are a desirsble Canadian classic. This impressive large plate is covered with glassy, intensely sparkly, transparent to translucent, pretty violet amethyst crystals with striking oriented rust-red hematite inclusions. The interior is nearly pristine, with only two small spots of bruising noted. The bit of noted periphery wear has minimal impact to this dramatic and colorful large piece.
