Item Description
A large, well-defined, modified dodecahedral almandine garnet crystal from the classic Colorado locale of Sedalia. The lustrous faces are reddish-orange to black with a bit of attached green chlorite schist. Complete all-around, with only a contact at the base. Ex Dennis Mullane Collection and dates to the 1960s-early 1970s or older. Mass is 1168 grams or 2.6 pounds. An impressive LARGE crystal for the locale and valued $750-1000
