Item Description
Chlorite-coated Albite variety Pericline specimens are a signature species from this well-known crushed stone quarry in granite famous for Alpine cleft-type mineralization. Sparkly, drusy, grayish-green Chlorite covers the impressive and sculptural, large intergrown cluster of blocky sharp Pericline crystals. The dominating large Pericline at the end is 4.5 cm. Nearly pristine, with only trivial bruising. The imposing piece has two excellent display views. Classic and RARE large material from the Bill and Anne Cook Collection.
