Royal-blue lapis lazuli (lazurite) has pseudomorphed a well-placed aesthetic cluster of sharp afghanite crystals on this showy and excellent two-sided specimen. The crystal cluster on top of the sculptural marble matrix is pristine. Bruised crystals off to the side add color to this excellent and highly representative example. The phlogopite section embedded in the top pseudo fluoresces lime-green and the marble a modest pink. Choice material from the Herb Obodda dealer stock.
