Item Description
This very fine miniature is a thin plate composed of 100% Langite, a copper sulfate, from a classic European locality. On close look, you can see the dendritic growth of the Langite, but back off a bit and you can see the piece sparkling like blue snow. A significant part of this crust is clearly microcrystalline. Originally out of the world-renowned Lindsay Greenbank collection, this is a choice and attractive Langite specimen from the Tankardstown Mine.
