Item Description

Lanarkite is a very uncommon secondary Pb-sulfate and is rare from this obscure former small V-Mo-Pb-Ag-Cu-Au-Bi-Zn-W mine. Glassy, pastel-green microcrystals are aesthetically clustered on a well-placed flange and are scattered on the hefty matrix of massive cerussite with two vugs of bladed cerussite crystals. This is a rich and rare combination example of the species and locale from the University of Delaware Collection. Undoubtably older material, but no proof. A must for the locality or species collector.
