Laffittite is a very rare Ag-Hg-As sulfosalt with easily the finest examples coming from the famous Getchell Mine in Nevada. Scattered stringers and masses of brown laffittite are included in the striking curved field of lustrous, translucent, amber dogtooth calcite crystals. Calcite is a RARELY seen accessory from the Getchell, making this a doubly rare combination piece. From a major rarities collection.
