A cool and hard to fin specimen of soft blue Kyanite from the famous area near Spruce Pine, North Carolina. If you collect pegmatite specimens or minerals from North Carolina, this is good overall small cabinet sized reference piece for your collection. It features many sharp, prismatic, flattened soft blue colored crystals measuring up to 6.9 cm with associated mica schist and minor quartz. You don't see these on the market very often, and the best of these specimens are some of the finest Kyanites from anywhere in the United States.
