Kyanite in Quartz

Item Description

Pretty, translucent, cornflower-blue kyanite blades set in massive quartz make for an aesthetic combination specimen from this well-known area of Minas Gerais. Kyanite is generally seen as in the form of opaque whitish-blue crystals. But occasionally, you get deep blue, dramatic crystals such as this, perched nicely in the matrix, to create a fine collector specimen.
