Kyanite (doubly-terminated) (ex Scalisi)

Item Description

A rarely seen doubly-terminated Kyanite crystal from the locality at Vitoria da Conquista in Bahia, Brazil. Typically the crystals from this locality have a unique color zoning with crystals that contain a stark blue "stripe" running through what is an "aqua green" color crystal. THIS crystal however does not show any of that typical color zoning as it is green throughout. Not only is the lack of zoning unusual, but the fact that the Kyanite is green sets it apart from most other Kyanites, though their colors can range from blue to orange from various world localities.
