Dramatic and sculptural 360-degree kyanite from recent finds at this famous locale. Rich cornflower-blue, highly lustrous, glassy kyanite blades strikingly project upward, are crossed and are accented with just a bit of quartz. The large blade is 7.0 cm. Complete all-around and in great shape. Uncommonly fine material of a common species that often just does not come out in specimen grade quality. The piece has multiple fine display views and is probably the finest Barra do Salinas kyanite we have offered at auction.
