Kyanite

These specimens are incredibly rare on the market, and they are distincty different from the more well known Kyanites from Barra de Salinas. This attractive, sharp, tabular, notably light blue color gemmy single crystal is one of the better examples of this material that I've seen, especially from the standpoint of color and gemminess due to the fact that it's not white or cloudy like a few I've seen. This would make a great addition to a thumbnail suite, a Brazilian mineral collection, or an assemblage of gem crystals.
