Kyanite

This gem is rarely seen in faceted stones from anywhere in the world let alone in such a rich color. Kyanite is an exceptionally rare stone mostly occurring in Brazil as included pale blue to colorless gems. This stone is from Nepal of all places and is a great Sapphire Blue color, and one of the better Kyanite that I have offered recently. This "Oval" cut gem looks good face up with a rich blue color. There are some slight inclusions, but it is good gem quality and the color is above average. These stones are becoming very difficult to find in today's market.
