Item Description
Nepalese Kyanite is some of the finest gem grade Kyanite in the world, as the color and clarity of the stones is as good as it gets from any world locality. The crystals are pretty impressive as well, probably only rivaled by their Brazilian counterparts from Barra de Salinas. This three piece rough and cut set features a single prismatic crystal of Kyanite is alternating light and blue gem sections but the two most important parts are the faceted stone and the cabochon. The "Oval" cut cabochon is a deep blue color with a very slight green overtone, which means it doesn't have the royal inky blue hue but almost reminds me of Apatite. The faceted stone has an "Emerald" cut and is only slightly included, but it is good gem quality and the color is excellent. Valued at $1100 for all three items.
