Kyanite

Item Description

An interesting and seldom seen, gemmy/translucent blue single Kyanite crystal from the famous Arusha Region in Tanzania. The elongated prismatic form along with the gentle etching creating an attractive specimen. I have only seen a handful of blue Kyanites from Tanzania over the years, and they are not often great quality. This piece would make a great addition to a Tanzanian suite, or a collection of unusual gem crystals.
