Kyanite

Item Description

An interesting and seldom seen, translucent blue single Kyanite crystal from the famous Arusha Region in Tanzania. The elongated prismatic form along with the gentle etching creating an attractive specimen. I have only seen a handful of blue Kyanites from Tanzania over the years, and they are not often great quality. This piece would make a nice addition to a Tanzanian suite, or a collection of unusual gem crystals.
