Item Description
A beautiful and delicate cluster of the rare manganese-rich carbonate Kutnohorite, from this classic locality for the species which mostly produced it in the 1980s. Kutnohorite is often found in this radial habit, producing fans or, in this case, cones. The main crystal here is about 2 cm long, and it has a light pastel pink color. The fluorescence is strong. A distinctive, aesthetic thumbnail.
