Item Description
Delicate, extremely sculptural specimen of the famous fluorescent mineral, Kutnohorite. This piece is composed of primarily three main crystals. Two are the classic layered growth, in concentric layers, broad (up to 3.5 cm across), and amazingly wrapped around a narrow, elongated crystal showing the more radial habit. This central crystal has a lovely, rounded termination like many Kutnohorites, and looks like a pink flower wrapped in pink leaves. Really, this could be carved from pink marble and put on display in an Italian piazza somewhere. One of the nicest, most elegant Kutnohorites I have seen in any size.
