Item Description
A very sculptural and unusual pink kutnohorite specimen from the famous Wessels Mine. The main stalactitic growth looks like a column from a Greek temple, where the capital or top of the column has broken off, but is then frozen in place. The overall shape is very weird and sculptural! It is probably the case that this specimen is actually intergrown kutnahorite and manganoan calcite but strangely, neither fluoresce.
