Kutnohorite

Item Description

Attractive specimen of Kutnohorite from the well know Wessels Mine. The Kutnohorite covers the entire top of the matrix, and the most dominant feature is a complete, 1.7 cm spherical cluster that is a rich pink, like pink cauliflower. It is uncommon to find a complete Kutnohorite ball like this, as it is often seen almost in cross-section with the radial growth pattern exposed. The thin layer of Kutnohorite that covers the remainder of the matrix is more of a dusty rose color. An attractive and somewhat unusual miniature.
