Item Description
A beautiful and blocky gemmy kunzite crystal with a nifty triphane green termination from recent finds at Mawi, Afghanistan. Most of the very rich lilac-colored crystal is transparent with very high luster, with a bit being translucent. The prism faces are highly striated, while one end face being glass-smooth. Most faces are lightly frosted. One chisel termination is glass-clear, while the other is lightly frosted. Albite covers the base. The crystal has gorgeous lilac color, especially evident on the C-axis shots, which completely suppresses the light green triphane color of the tip. A striking, blocky, sharply terminated and very colorful, two-toned crystal. Complete all-around and pristine. Excellent quality for the size. 101 grams. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock and valued by him at $750, as one of the finest we have seen in this small cabinet size range, considering all factors. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
