Item Description
An impressive and rare, large, Afghanistan combination piece from the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Two, diametrically opposed, parallel-growth, highly lustrous, kunzite crystals are dramatically attached to the side of a large, sharp, porcelaneous, textbook, microcline crystal. The upper portion of the large crystal is a pretty pink and has a razor-sharp termination with water-clear to lightly frosted faces. The lower translucent section is brownish-pink with frosted faces. The small kunzite has a knife-edge termination. The trivial bit of bruising to the large kunzite termination is certainly a modest detraction. A very sculptural, dramatic and rare combination piece, as microcline is very uncommon from Nuristan. Valued by Herb at $750, five or more years ago.
