Item Description
Some of the finest crystals of Kunzite ever found are those from the various pegmatites in Afghanistan. This large miniature / small cabinet sized specimen is a beautiful example featuring a sharp, well-formed, twinned crystal of eye-catchingly pink color, GEM QUALITY Spodumene (var: Kunzite) from this well-known deposit in Afghanistan. Along with the water-clear transparency, I love the fact that the prism faces on the crystals alternate between smooth and striated depending upon which side you're viewing. Like most Kunzites, the color in this crystal is darker when viewed down the "c" axis. A great gem crystal specimen that would make a wonderful addition to any collection. Weighs is 25.20 grams
