Item Description

This is a very attractive doubly-terminated, gemmy Kunzite crystal from Afghanistan. The crystal is very lightly colored, (it's nearly colorless), but if you look closely under good lighting, you'll see the majority of the prism shows a pale pinkish-purple hue, with slight pale greenish tones here and there . You rarely see bi-colored Kunzite crystals from any locality, let alone gemmy, doubly-terminated crystals like this. The form and gemminess make it a great example from this most prolific gem producing region. It's not completely damage free, but it's still a very attractive representation of this classic material Good crystallized Kunzites are only found in a few places on earth. The specimen was priced at $750 in the inventory. Specimen weight is 52.58 grams.
