Item Description
While Kunzite is a fairly well-known gem, there are only a few places in the world where it is found with any frequency. The gem pegmatites in Afghanistan have been a great source of gem quality Kunzite for a few decades, and outside of Brazil, this is the only place you'll find good faceted material making its way to the market regularly. This beautiful "step oval" cut stone has a lovely pink hue with eye-clean clarity. This is a very good sized gem, and could easily be the center stone for a piece of jewelry, or would make a great addition to any gem collection. Priced at $945.60 retail.
