The gem pegmatites in Afghanistan have been a great source of gem quality Kunzite for several decades, and outside of Brazil, this is the only place you'll find good faceted material making its way to the market regularly. This beautiful "oval brilliant" cut stone has a pastel pinkish-purple hue with eye-clean clarity and excellent cutting.
