Item Description
Kryzhanovskite is a rare phosphate that was first discovered in Kazakhstan, but some good crystals of the material are found in the Yukon Territory. This area is only accessible for a few months per year and is rather treacherous terrain for collecting specimens. This piece features lustrous, bronze-brown crystals of this rare manganese, iron phosphate on matrix. It's a micro specimen, but a good reference piece that would make a nice addition to any rarities collection.
