Stunning blue color makes this tabular krohnkite crystal a beauty to look at, but its also a solid, super rich example of an extremely rare copper species. This is a rare single crystal of the species, as most are lamellar crystal clusters of crystals grown against one another. The termination is contacted, but has no damage, per se. This piece absolutely GLOWS when backlit. RARE material in this quality from the famous Type Locality, the Chuquicamata Mine of Chile. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON and very rare on the market.
