Item Description
Kornerupine is a rather rare stone, which is not often seen in rich colors (usually only brown or yellow). This "Round Cabochon" cut stone is a very rare, attractive, rich grass green color cat's eye gem with a very nice distinct eye. A bright pen light was used to show off the eye in this stone well in the photos, but it clearly shows up in good indoor lighting or in sunlight. I have to say that this is one of the few cat's eye Kornerupines I've seen in a while, and one of the few I've ever seen in this color. They are not as common as one might think and this gem doesn't get much credit because it usually occurs in such somber colors.
