Item Description
Scintillating, gemmy, beautiful blue kinoite with colorless gemmy apophyllite microcrystals are richly festooned on the sculptural elongated quartz-rich matrix wedge. Kinoite is a rare Ca-Cu silicate. The well-known extinct underground and open pit Cu-Au-Ag-Mo-Bi-Pb-Zn-Be-W Christmas Mine produced the finest US examples of the species and this is a rich, colorful and showy large example of the combination species. Classic Arizona kinoite of unusual richness.
